1. Rafflesia Arnoldii

Sumatra is the home to the world’s largest flower that is- Rafflesia Arnoldii. The flower grows to 3 feet and weights up to 7 kgs. This is the impossible to gain for a normal flower, but this rare flower is a parasite and attaches itself to a host to obtain its food- water and nutrients. If this is not enough for you, you will be shocked to know instead of blooming fresh floral fragrance it gives a rotten smell.

2. Sumatran Tiger

Sumatran tigers are the smallest subspecies of the tiger but have the greatest concentration of stripes. Because of their small stature they can easily navigate through the dense Sumatran woods.

3. Sumatran Orangutan

If you want to see orang-utans in the wild, Sumatra is the only place outside of Borneo to suspect them. Just like humans, orang-utans area great Ape along with gorillas, chimpanzees, and bonobos. They are born with the ability to reason and think. They are so clever and make out their ways out to use the available things in the forest.
