The trailer for the fourth and final film in Marvel's Avengers franchise has dropped, and, yes we can’t stop sobbing. It’s true that we’re not totally sold away by the film's official title, to be quite honest because Avengers: Endgame looks like the storyline is going to deliver on the emotional conclusion to the plot we've seen so far and loved.
In the first trailer, we’ve seen Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) stuck in the space by himself post-Thanos' deadly snap, recording a heart-wrenching message for Pepper Potts that includes the line, "Part of the journey is the end." There comes a shot of Captain America (Chris Evans) where he’s seen dropping a few tears before telling Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) that "this is the fight of our lives." To make things light, though, Ant-Man with all his zest has arrived, so things are apparently not so heavy now.
Are you mad yet? Marvel also did the kicking off of 2019's Super Bowl 53 by dropping a crisp teaser giving us a glimpse of how the world is handling things after Thanos. Not really surprising that things, in New York City, are a little murky. We see Tony and Nebula striving hard, Steve in group therapy and also back to his clean-shaved avatar and the remaining Avengers on Earth prepping up for what looks like a battle.
"Some people move on," Steve's says, "but not us”. Now, the question that arises is moving on from what? Is it the pain which has been inflicted by Thanos that the Avengers don’t want to move on from or it’s their strict dedication as superheroes to protect the world? Don’t miss a single trailer before the film hits theaters on April 26, 2019.
