1. The Forrest Fenn Hidden Treasure
Fenn became a pilot in the Air Force in the 1960s, he regularly flew his plane to Pompeii to look for artifacts and which he collected in abundance. When he was diagnosed with cancer he decided to hide his precious artifacts and drop in clues to find his treasure, estimated to hold a $1–3 million worth of gold, jewelry, and other valuable artifacts.

2. The Treasure Of Jean LaFitte
Jean Lafitte and his brother Pierre were French pirates who earned their living by attacking merchant ships in the Gulf of Mexico. After Lafitte died, the legend of his treasures started making rounds in Louisiana. It’s claimed that there are large caches of treasure buried somewhere in Lake Borgne, right off the coast of New Orleans, and another about five kilometers east of the Old Spanish Trail near the Sabine River in a gum tree grove.

3. The Oak Island Money Pit
The mystery surrounding this pit which is located off the shores of Nova Scotia, can either make you super rich or it will lure you on a wild chase, where you dig out a weird piece of land, only to find nothing. Its legend dates back to the year 1975, the time when piracy was at an all-time high.

4. The Hidden Golden Owl
A person with the pseudonym "Max Valentin" decided that in the year 1993, he would make all the citizens of France convert into a professional treasure hunter. That's the only explanation we can come up with for hiding a golden owl somewhere in the French Countryside.
