We have been quite used to say this phrase that anything can go viral on the internet and it is true also. From egg recording the world record to the other weird challenges like Momo challenge, cheese challenge going viral so instantly on social media it has been proven time and again that anything can go viral on the social media.
However, after a long time, a challenge which definitely makes a huge sense is taking up the rounds of social media. Called as # Trash Challenge induces people to pick up trash around them and post pictures of the transformation achieved by cleaning up an area.
It started with the post of Instagram and Twitter has caught fire afterwards. It is quite motivating that challenges like this are too are becoming popular on social media.

People are quite actively participating in the challenge. Around 500 volunteers helped with the cleanup of 5 million kg of trash from this Mumbai beach.
#Women Power- 3 women cleaned up this area together.
Students have also accepted the challenge
Weekend spend on noble cause- Took the whole Sunday morning for 10 people. But finally completed the #trashtag challenge
That goes without saying that protecting the environment is the need of the hour and the challenges like this are surely going to make people aware about the environment and hopefully people can expect a transformation in people’s attitude.
