Just after her smashing records with her Marvel debut in Captain Marvel, Brie Larson is all set to make another benchmark in her Hollywood career — the actress is making her directorial debut with the Netflix film Unicorn Store, and she's not just that, she’s also bringing her Captain Marvel co-star Samuel. L. Jackson(Nick Fury) with her to our utter excitement. No wonder this pair is going to add to the sheer delight even more since Captain Marvel and Nick Fury has already developed great chemistry and of which we’d love to see more.
Unicorn Store, the story follows a young woman named Kit after she's been taken out of art school and forced to move back in with her parents. Suppressing all her creative aspirations and escapist ways, Kit somehow resolves to "grow up" and takes a temp job for a PR firm. There comes a turn of events when she meets the mysterious salesman of "The Store" (Jackson), who promises her childhood's most coveted dream and leads her down a path to discovering what true magic actually is.
Bradley Whitford, Karan Soni and Joan Cusack feature as Kit's family. Unicorn Store is Brie's first credit as a director of a feature film. Earlier she has directed two short films-- Weighting (2013) and The Arm(2012). The film will also mark the fourth time collaboration of Jackson and Brie together. Before this they were seen together in Captain Marvel, Kong: Skull Island and animated film Farce of the Penguins together.
As far as the latest looks of the trailer is are concerned, and also the flashy suits we really need a closer look at, for now, it's safe to say Unicorn Store is going to be one colorful adventure. Check out the trailer above, and get ready soon to believe in magic again when Unicorn Store hits Netflix on April 5.
