Google's India and South East Asia President Rajan Anandan has quit after working for eight years at the American tech giant. The responsibility of the interim period will be handled by Vikas Agnihotri from the next month.
Who is Vikas Agnihotri?
Vikas Agnihotri is currently working as the head of the country sales department of Google India since May 2018. Prior to that, he was working as the Director for Auto, BFSI, CPG, Telecom, Travel, Media & Ent. verticals for Google India. Earlier he was working with Religare Macquarie Wealth Management, where he was responsible for taking key decisions, designing strategies and successful implementation of business operations based out of the head office in Mumbai.
Vikas Agnihotri holds a key experience of about 20 years across banking, financial and advertising sector. He has held top positions like Sales Director in Standard Chartered Bank and commercial director Deutsche Bank. He started his career in the advertisement sector with Ogilvy and Mather where he worked for a little more than 3 years.
Having studied in Sydenham Institute of Management Studies Vikas Agnihotri has a keen interest in reading, cycling and traveling he has been quite a motivational speaker too. He has also a powerful talk at TedX Jaipur. Apart from that he also has written several articles and has been featured in various publications including the Wall Street Journal.
