While there are just three weeks left for the release of the blockbuster, the money-makers have sought a new way to monetize the madness around Avengers Endgame.
The euphoria surrounding Marvel's upcoming film Avengers: Endgame is increasing day by day. The pre-booking of tickets are already in process and with just three weeks left for the release of the superhero flick, fans have looked for a new way for some economic gains from the madness around the most awaited Marvel movie.
Recently Marvel Studios came out with the final trailer of Avengers: Endgame and the tickets of the same were made available online across the US, on platforms like Fandango, AMC Theaters, and Atom Tickets. It was because of technical errors and heavy traffic users that they found themselves in a virtual queue for some theatre chains. News has also spread that few of the sites that are pre-selling the tickets are crashed because of overload.
The hysteria has now reached heights with plenty of people( the lucky ones), who somehow managed to get hold of the tickets are now selling them on eBay at an exorbitant price reaching till USD 9,199 which is roughly Rs 6,40,000. "A listing on eBay for two tickets to Endgame for an April 28th showing at AMC's 84th Street 6 Theater in New York City are currently sitting at a high bid of $9,199," reports comicbook.com. Many others listed the tickets in the range of USD 100 to USD 300 dollars.
Despite the crashes, the ticket sales smashed the first-day records, going beyond those held by Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The opening weekend of the film in the US is booked totally.
Avengers: Endgame would mark the final flick of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's present generation.
