The 12th season of IPL is being played, in which Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore has seen defeat in all the previous 6 matches. Leaving the team's opener batsman Parthiv Patel, almost all the team players have disappointed the fans. In many matches, Parthiv has fought alone till the end, but the failure of the team has always neglected his contribution.
On the other hand, do you know that after playing every match in the IPL Parthiv leaves for the hospital immediately? The reason for this is that Parthiv's father is very ill and he is admitted to a hospital in Hyderabad.
Bangalore’s wicketkeeper and batsman Parthiv Patel is facing dual responsibilities these days. His father is in admitted in Ahmedabad as he is suffering from a brain hemorrhage. Apart from this, Parthiv also has to go to other states to play matches.
Parthiv's father was admitted to hospital in February. Because of this, every time his attention remains on his phone. Through phone only he knows about his father's health. However, during the match, family members do not call them. Parthiv said that whenever he receives the phone after the match he is scared.
Parthiv himself told an English newspaper, "There is nothing in my mind when I am playing, but as soon as the match is completed my heart starts to think about my family. As soon as I get up in the morning, I talk to the doctors about the health of my father. Sometimes there are some tough decisions to take. My mother and wife are at home but before making a final decision, they ask me. It is very difficult to take such decisions. Mental stress is quite a burden, but what can anyone do? Earlier, bad thoughts came, but now the family has taken over themselves.
RCB has allowed Parthiv Patel to go home after the match. According to the reports, he goes home directly after the match every day and then joins the team before the match. Continuous travel also makes a difference, but Patel does not want to have any effect on his game. Due to father's illness, he had left the Syed Mushtaq Ali tournament but after the family said, he agreed to play in the IPL.
