Earlier, Mark Zuckerberg introduced the concept of Whatsapp Pay. As much as it has possessed a threat to the other transaction services, it has been highly-anticipating.

In the earliest prospect before Launching Whatsapp Pay in India, Facebook has made London a center of global Operation. The Social Media giant will hire about 100 people in London. They will pay attention to the digital Payment Service. Furthermore, additional personnel will also be taken from Dublin.

Whatsapp has around 1.5 billion users worldwide, of which 30 million users are in India. According to the report, skilled engineering personnel will build security products with payment operations on the app. According to Matthew Umeda, Chief Operating Officer, “Whatsapp is global service and these teams will help our users worldwide to provide WhatsApp payments and other features.”

TALKING TO ANALYSTS, HE SAID, “WE ARE DOING A TEST FOR WHATSAPP PAY IN INDIA, WE ARE HOPING TO LAUNCH IT IN SOME OTHER PLACES ALSO IN SOME OTHER COUNTRIES, BUT I HAVE FIXED A DEADLINE FOR THIS HERE.

According to the company, about one million people in India have tested WhatsApp pay. The company had told the Supreme Court on May 3 that it will comply with the data localization norms of the Reserve Bank of India before fully implementing the payment service in the country.

Let us tell you that WhatsApp was a different company that was acquired by Facebook in order to extend roots in Social Networking.
