I have been a horror freak all my life. This thirst for the unknown has always driven me crazy and I’m sure many of you are nodding your head ‘yes’. But, more than the witches and spirits the thing which grabs eyeballs and puts a question mark on our face with curiosity is the movies which feature unknown creatures that create havoc, and the one who’s not really easy to kill. If you have watched the following movies, great! But for the ones who haven’t, you shouldn’t miss the movies mentioned below:
5. The Darkest Hour
It all starts from a nightclub, when two guys namely Sean and Ben meet Natalie and Anee. Out of the blue, the population is taken aback by strange light objects, which they mistake for natural phenomena. But soon, they learn that the lights are aliens invading Earth and using power supply to annihilate mankind.
4. It Comes At Night
Enclosed within a desolate home as an unnatural and weird threat takes over the world, the well maintained domestic order the protagonist has established with his wife and son is put to the ultimate test with the arrival of a desperate young family seeking for a safe place. Despite the best intentions of both families, fear and mistrust boil over as the horrors outside creep even closer.
3. Bird Box
An unknown global terror prompts a mother to find the strength to flee with her children down a treacherous river in search of safety. Due to unseen deadly entities around, the journey must be made blindly. Directed by Emmy winner Susanne Bier, Bird Box is a thriller starring Academy Award winner Sandra Bullock, John Malkovich, Sarah Paulson, and Trevante Rhodes.
2. Pet Semetary
Louis Creed along with his wife Rachel, and their two children, Gage and Ellie, move to a rural home where they are welcomed and also warned about the eerie 'Pet Sematary' located nearby. After the tragedy of their cat being smashed by a truck, Louis resorts to burying it in the creepy pet cemetery, which is definitely not as it seems or is supposed to be.
1. A Quiet Place
The mother and father do whatever it takes to keep their children safe in a world full of creatures hunting down every sound they can hear. All possible efforts are made by the family to not make a single sound, but eventually, all it takes is one noise and everything can turn topsy-turvy.
