The day has been observed with most of the world leaders, celebrities and ardent fans congratulating PM Narendra Modi. While the PM received the warmest welcome as he arrived at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi, B-Town celebrities have been taking to Twitter to add a bit more flavor to this big moment.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Many congratulations Hon. Prime Minister <a href="">@narendramodi</a> on your decisive victory. We stand by you in building a stronger India.</p>— Salman Khan (@BeingSalmanKhan) <a href="">May 23, 2019</a></blockquote><script async src="" charset="utf-8"></script>

Bollywood celebrities including, Rajinikanth, Varun Dhawan, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan Arjun Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra among others have taken to their social media handles to congratulate PM Narendra Modi on his triumphant day. A good mention has to be done about Salman Khan who also took to his Twitter handle to congratulate the PM. Taking to Twitter, Salman wrote, "Many congratulations Hon. Prime Minister @narendramodi on your decisive victory. We stand by you in building a stronger India."

Having said that, let us take you back to the year 2014 when Salman celebrated the kite flying festival with the PM in Ahmedabad. While interacting with the media in Ahmedabad, Salman had revealed, "God will decide who is the best man for the country. May the best man win." In an earlier report in Mid-Day, the ‘Bhai’ of Bollywood had said, "It has been just 100 days now; let's give him some more time- everyone deserves it. He is working from morning to night along with his team. People don't want to take responsibility here. I challenge everyone who is criticizing him to first become a chairperson of their housing society, let alone run the country. Then you will know about the hurdles one has to face. We can barely run our households; who are we to run the country? But Modi is still doing that."
