Who doesn’t wish to have a four-day working week, and just to set an example this UK company actually did that! Portcullis Legals has switched over to a four-day working week and says its staff and customers have never been any happier, of course, you have fulfilled a dream which other companies can never even discuss. You also might get swayed away to tag your boss in this, but hold on till you read the entire thing.

Portcullis Legals in Plymouth, England has also come up with a raise to its employees, in addition to declaring a four-day work week only. The firm’s head has said that the staff is happier than ever before since they've been getting three days off in a week.

According to LadBible, Managing Director Trevor Worth of Plymouth Live said, "The initial results have been heartening - our team is happier and our customers are receiving a better service." Now that’s exactly what we have been screaming right from the time we got into this job life, but to no avail, of course.
The company planned to do its own five-month trial, with its nine members of staff and has since decided to bring in the four-day week permanently.Trevor added, "I've contacted businesses far and wide to find out the benefits and pitfalls of the four-day week, working with academics and industry leaders to find out the best way to apply the four-day week to Portcullis."
"The response has been extraordinary and there's a real passion to help other firms achieve a happier working week for their staff."

This unique decision of working four days a week - rather than the usual five (or at times six in our case) is gaining huge popularity with employers, after claims that it makes the work force happier and eventually more productive.
