Director Raghava Lawrence tweeted on Saturday and said that he is "back on board as a director of Laxmmi Bomb," which he had abandoned a few weeks ago as he felt "disrespected". He also went at length thanking actor Akshay Kumar and producer Shabinaa Khan in his tweet for solving the issues. This is what Raghava Lawrence wrote in his tweet: "As you wished I would like you to know that I am back on board as a director of Laxmmi Bomb. A big thank you to Akshay Kumar sir for understanding my feelings and sorting all issues. Another thank you to my producer Shabinaa Khan for the same. Thanks to both for giving me respect. " Take a look at Raghava Lawrence's tweeted:

Earlier, Raghava Lawrence took to his Twitter about resigning from the film after feeling "disrespected" and "disappointed," as the first poster of the film was made open to all by the makers of the film without any prior information to him: Here is what he had said in his tweet earlier:

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Dear Friends and Fans..!I<br>In this world, more than money and fame, self-respect is the most important attribute to a person's character. So I have decided to step out of the project, <a href="">#Laxmmibomb</a> Hindi remake of Kanchana<a href="">@akshaykumar</a> <br> <a href="">@RowdyGabbar</a> <a href="">@Advani_Kiara</a> <a href=""></a></p>— Raghava Lawrence (@offl_Lawrence) <a href="">May 18, 2019</a></blockquote><script async src="" charset="utf-8"></script>

Laxmi Bomb is the Bollywood remake of a Tamil horror film Kanchana: Muni 2, which was a blockbuster in South. It is the story of a cowardly man, who gets possessed by the ghost of a transgender. Akshay Kumar will play the character of the possessed person in the film. Kiara Advani will also be seen in the film as the leading lady. In the original film, R. Sarathkumar, Raghava Lawrence, Lakshmi Rai, Kovai Sarala, Devadarshini and Sriman were the cast.

Alongsing Laxmmi Bomb, Akshay Kumar is also working on Rohit Shetty's upcoming film Sooryavanshi, which also features Katrina Kaif and Nikitin Dheer. This is of course not the first time that Akshay Kumar would be seen in the remake of a Tamil movie, previously he was seen in the blockbuster ‘Bhool Bhulaiya’, which was the Bollywood remake of Rajnikant starrer ‘Chandramukhi’.
