Beloved onscreen couple ‘Salman Khan’ and ‘Katrina Kaif’ came together to launch latest track ‘Zinda’ of their upcoming film ‘Bharat’ on Friday. According to TOI report, Bharat director ‘Ali Abbas Zafar’ made his debut as a lyricist and composer with new song ‘Zinda’. Tiger Zinda Hai fame ‘Julius Packiam’ has also worked on background score of the track.
Fans are eagerly waiting to watch magical chemistry of Salman and Katrina in the much-awaited film which has been making headlines ever since its announcement. According to Deccanchronicle.com report, the onscreen couple engaged in funny banter at song launch event.When Katrina was asked about her role and experience of working in period drama, she replied as mentioned in TOI report: " I will really count this role (Kumud Raina) among one of the best characters that I have played onscreen. She is support for Bharat's character so her journey also continues with him in the film. I won't go much into the detail now because we want to save some surprises for the film. But there is a huge amount of hard work has gone behind each era to get the essence of the era right. "
Katrina is receiving great appreciation for her Hindi speaking skills and graceful avatar ever since makers dropped trailer of ‘Bharat’. Deccanchronicle.com report suggests that Kat is essaying character of government officer in Salman starrer film. Bharat star appreciated Katrina’s performance like never before in a conversation to media at song launch event.Salman stated in an interview to Deccanchronicle.com: "Katrina has done a lot of hard work. She has done a brilliant job in the film. She will definitely win National Award for her performance."‘Bharat’ also stars Jackie Shroff, Tabu, Sonali Kulkarni, Shashank Arora, Nora Fatehi, Sunil Grover and Disha Patani in supporting roles. Deccanchronicle.com suggests that Ali Abbas Zafar’s directorial venture is Hindi remake of South Korean film ‘Ode to my Father’. The period drama is scheduled to release on June 5 this year.
