'Arbaaz Khan’ got caught in the IPL betting scam sometime ago. According to Indiatoday.in report, the 51-year-old actor not only admitted about placing bets but also revealed that he lost Rs 3 crore in the betting racket. Thane police recorded Arbaaz’s statement and disclosed his involvement in the betting scam.
‘Kareena Kapoor Khan’ read out a tweet at Arbaaz’s chat show ‘Pinch’ which made fun of his bank balance. The tweet read as mentioned in Indiatoday.in report: “According to sources, Thane police has stopped all investigations on Arbaaz Khan after seeing his bank statements. In fact, constable Patil gave his Rs 100 with a beedi and said, 'Yeh le, minimum balance toh maintain kiya kar. Fine lag jayega’.”Instead of getting offended, the 51-year-old actor laughed and replied: “Sach baat hai yeh. Mere account mein kuch paisa nahi hai.”However, Begum Khan refused to believe bankruptcy of Dabangg fame producer. She retorted: “Aise ho nahi sakta! Aapne do superhit film banayi hai!”
When a troll referred to Arbaaz as khula saand after divorce from ‘Malaika Arora’, he replied in his chat show ‘Pinch’ as quoted in Indiatoday.in report: "Arre bhai, 21 years ka relationship khatam hua. Kuch hadd tak iski baaton mein sachchai hai isliye mujhe bura bhi nahi laga. Ek time aa gaya tha, after making my efforts at reconciliation or whatever...We both tried, didn't happen. After a time, I had to move on in life. I was, to some extent. There's some truth in that, not all.”On the professional front, Arbaaz is all set to produce the third instalment of ‘Dabangg’franchise starring ‘Salman Khan’ as inspector Chulbul Pandey and ‘Sonakshi Sinha’ as his wife Rajjo. ‘Dabangg 3’ would be shot in a start-to-finish schedule of 90-100 days and would be clashing with ‘Brahmastra’ on Christmas.
