Neena Gupta’s daughter ‘Masaba Gupta’ is making waves for her newly launched capsule collection in collaboration with ‘Game of Thrones’ these days. After collaborating with Black White Orange Company that owns merchandising rights for GoT two years ago, Mumbai-based designer created a fusion wear line aligned with identity of her own brand.
Masaba who is doing great on professional front owns a luxurious sea-facing home in Juhu. Vogue.in report suggests that Neena’s daughter started her career in fashion industry at the age of 19. She is quite popular among Bollywood celebs. The 30-year-old designer has close to a million followers on social media.Neena’s daughter Masaba separated from her film-maker husband ‘Madhu Mantena Varma’in 2018 and filed for divorce in March this year. Masaba’s decision came as a big shock to her mother Neena.
Badhaai Ho actress stated in an interview as mentioned in Indiatoday.in report: "Like a normal mother, I said don't take any decision in a rush. Think about it because my husband and I, both loved Madhu and still love him. He's a very nice man and we still love him. But... nahi bana toh nahi bana...Humne bola socho isko, aisa nahi hai ki immediate decision liya, they thought about it. It was a very big shock to me."For the uninitiated, power woman Neena got pregnant with West Indian cricketer Vivian Richards child in the 1980s. As wedlock was not possible, Badhaai Ho actress took decision of giving birth to her illegitimate child against wish of her family members. Neena is happily married to chartered accountant ‘Vivek Mehra’ for more than a decade now.In an interview with ‘Rajeev Masand’, single mother Neena revealed that Masaba wanted to become an actress. However, Badhaai Ho actress asked her to choose different career as beauty is considered essential in Bollywood. Mumbai Mirror report suggests that Masaba’s life would be soon seen in a series.
