The enemity between Bollywood actor ‘Salman Khan’ and singer ‘Arijit Singh’ is not hidden from anyone. Bharat actor is all set to collaborate with director ‘Sanjay Leela Bhansali’ after 19 years for his ambitious project ‘Inshallah’. While Salman would be essaying role of a 40-year-old businessman, ‘Alia Bhatt’ would be seen in the role of an aspiring actress in her 20s in the film.
Arijit has lent his melodious voice to several popular tracks of Bhansali’s films. According to Dainik Bhaskar report, Bhansali has dropped the idea of signing Arijit as he doesn’t want to annoy Salman. If the report is anything to go by, the winning combination of Bhansali and Arijit won’t be seen in Salman starrer ‘Inshallah’.A source informed as mentioned in Dainik Bhaskar report: “Everyone is aware about bitter relation between Salman and Arijit. Thus, Bhansali has decided to stay away from Arijit in order to maintain peace with Salman. Bhansali knows that Salman is a bigger brand than Arijit and thus his sacrifice is correct. Arijit has sung many hit numbers for Bhansali including ‘Binte Dil’ in his recent film ‘Padmaavat’. Both of them like to work with each other.”
For the uninitiated, fight between Salman and Arijit started at an award show in 2013. Arijit who bagged award for best singer reached in a casual look on stage. When Salman asked if he is sleepy, the singer replied that you people made me sleep to which Race 3 actor angrily said that songs like ‘Tum hi ho’ surely make people sleep.Thereafter, Salman got Arijit banned in his films ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’. According to Dainik Bhaskar report, Arijit sang a number in ‘Kick’ but it was released in the voice of ‘Mohammed Irfan’. Sultan’s song ‘Jag ghoomeya’ was sung by both Arijit and ‘Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’ but the version of former was cut by Salman. Then, Arijit even wrote an open apology to Salman on social media but Race 3 actor refused to forgive him.
