In last 3 decades we’ve watched many superb movies that truly depict the soul and life of Indian Cinema. But sometimes in bringing out those movies to audience Directors, producers, actors, etc. have to face many obstacles from various sources. Today, we will bring out some of the most controversial movies in front of you all.
Here is the BLACKLISTED list:
The latest movie to get into the trap of controversies and get opposed by Karni Sena from Rajasthan is ‘Padmavati’. Hope movie gets released on time and elements that are to be showcased in the movie won’t hurt any sentiments.
Lipstick Under My Burkha:
This is the latest movie to get into the list of Indian controversial movies. The movie received a great response in film festivals and also won the “Oxfam Award” for Best Film on Gender Equality, but all the appreciation the CBFC seemed to have a problem with the bold content of the film which talks about a woman’s fantasy above life and hadn’t certified it. However, after all that the war against Censor board movie finally got released on 21st July 2017.
A complete woman-centric film, with a strong story but the movie struck a controversy before its release when a leaked clip of Radhika Apte and Adil Hussain's s#x scene was being circulated. Radhika Apte got totally depressed with it and the filmmakers claimed that there is much more than that damn scene.
Black Friday:
The Anurag Kashyap’s movie was based on the true events of the 1993 blasts in Mumbai. It was banned because the case was still pending in the court. But still, the movie got released in many film festivals and got a very good response.
Bandit Queen:
Based on the life and true incidents of Dacoit Phoolan Devi, this movie was banned by the Censor Board because of nudity, rape and abusive language. But after its release, it bagged three National Awards.
There are lots of movies from Bollywood which gets into the trap of controversies but in the end, some really works on the box office and get popular and some face unfortunes.
