Janhvi Kapoor, who is still coming to terms with the loss of her mother Sridevi, has immersed herself in her work and resumed shooting her upcoming film 'Dhadak'. The star kid, who recently turned 21, was spotted on the sets in a rather pensive mood as she shot a scheduled sequence.Dressed in a simple olive green saree and hair neatly tied up in a pony tail, she filmed a scene by the window. 'Dhadak' which marks Janhvi's Bollywood debut, is a remake of the superhit Marathi film 'Sairat'.Helmed by Shashank Khaitan, the film also marks the Bollywood debut of Ishaan Khatter.It was on Thursday that Janhvi's father Boney Kapoor performed the 'Asthi Visarjan' ritual and offered prayers for his late wife and veteran actress in Haridwar. Brother Anil Kapoor, designer Manish Malhotra, Amar Singh and other family members were present by the grieving husband's side at the VIP ghat in Haridwar, Uttarakhand while he performed the ritual.

‘Dhadak’, which marks the Bollywood debut of Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter, reportedly hit a roadblock when filming in Jaipur was allegedly stalled. According to reports doing the rounds, the shoot was called off on Friday, because of protests by local residents. A police complaint was also allegedly filed by a local who claimed that one of the crew’s vans hit the roof of the Ambikeshwar Mahadev Temple and damaged it.While filming was cancelled on Friday, the makers cited the reason to be the director’s ill health.Reports suggest that the matter has been resolved, with a compensation given to the temple authorities.
