Irrfan Khan’s upcoming movie Blackmail is a black comedy and the story is about a man (Irfan Khan) who is stuck in a full-time job, however, things take a different turn when he finds out that his wife is having an extramarital affair.
Sahebzade Irrfan Ali Khan credited as Irrfan Khan in the entertainment industry is an actor who is known for his versatility in movies. Following his own path with no godfather in Bollywood, Irrfan Khan is an example of par excellence.He has impressed his fans across the country and is also known for working British Indian films, Hollywood ventures, and a Telugu film. The actor has gained the reputation of a versatile actor from his roles in Bollywood movies such as Paan Singh Tomar, Maqbool, Piku and Hindi Medium. The actor is also the recipient of 2011 Padma Shri award, the fourth highest civilian award in India.

The film is written and directed by Ritesh Batra and the story is about the unlikely mistake which is made by a dabbawala. Irfan Khan is the person who is receiving a lunch box which is made Ila for her husband. With lunchbox, Ila sends notes for her husband which is mistakenly received by Saajan Fernandes (Irfan Khan). It results in a sweet friendship and the notes that are shared among them are a delight to read for the viewers.
2) Paan Singh Tomar
Paan Singh Tomar is Indian biographical film. Irfan Khan’s role in the movie is of an Indian soldier Paan Singh Tomar who is selected for the sports division in the army because of his athletic skills. He also won a gold medal at the Indian National Games however, he was angry with the fact that he was allowed to go to the borders to fight in the 1962 war as a sportsman were not allowed. Soon he retires from the army and goes back to his village after he comes to know about family disputes. To solve the family dispute he seeks help from the officials but meanwhile, her mother gets murdered. He then decides to take the revenge and he becomes a dacoit. Irfan Khan impressed the fan with this movie across the country.
3) Maqbool
This movie of Irrfan Khan is one of the best movies of his career. The movie is based on William Shakespeare’s Macbeth. He is playing the character of Maqbool who is the right hand of Jahangir Khan, a powerful don in Mumbai. The movie has received universal critical acclaim. Rediff described the film as "a visual gallery that is an intelligent blend of dark, tragic overtones and comic, satirical undertones". After this movie, Irrfan got recognized as a versatile actor in the film industry and started getting new movies.
4) Hindi Medium
The movie is based on the loopholes of the education system of India. The education system in India has become a business and how difficult it is for the common man to adjust according to society because of college. Irrfan Khan is playing the role of a rich businessman who is struggling to get Pia, his daughter educated from a reputed school. When Irrfan and his wife get to know that their language is and lifestyle is holding her back, they decide to do different things to get her admitted in the reputed school. The concept and the plot of the movie is quite good as the movie is taking a sarcastic take on the education system of India.
5) Piku
Irrfan Khan and Deepika Padukone's chemistry in this movie is superb and watching Irrfan Khan in romantic avatar was a delight to eyes for fans. The man who is famous for his dark roles in Bollywood tried something different by working in the movie and people across the country appreciated his role in the movie. He has played the role of a driver (Rana Chaudhary) who is stuck between the father-daughter duos as they are on a journey from Delhi to Kolkata.
His struggle and journey in the film industry have made him a superstar who is dedicated towards his work.
Blackmail movie will release on 6 April 2018.
