Bollywood beauty, Anushka Sharma, who had been in news in the past for her unique and eminent wedding with the famous cricketer Virat kohli, is now again ready to make a grand entry, this time for the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. She is going to be honored as a 'path- breaking producer' in the Hindi Film Industry. It’s genuinely a great achievement for a young lady in Bollywood to get a big adulation and that too as a producer.
She has truly been appreciated for working off the beaten track and putting forward novel and unique content ideas for her films. With Clean Slate Films, she started her debut production NH10 which was altogether a different content based on reality. It got immense admiration from audience as well as the critics.
Then she worked on a different genre with her second home production named Phillauri which is sweat and simple love story. Though it did not work well on box office but it was completely a different beat from her previous production.
Her recent outing Pari showed certainly a unique story line. This time, she experimented on horror beat which received mixed reactions from critics. Soon, it will be having its Tamil remake.
So, overall Anushka Sharma along with her brother Karnesh has experimented with three different genres- a suspense thriller, love story and horror which is precisely a gutsy step to be taken. So her effort in putting forward these content-driven and worth watching ideas made her recognizable in the eyes of Dadasaheb Phalke Foundation and they have now decided to give away this precious award to this 29 years old young innovative mind for her great success stories.
Her fans would definitely rejoice with her success. We wish a great future for Anushka’s long journey in Bollywood. Hope she will amaze us with many more of her exceptional contents ahead.
